Yuushien Garden

The adventures continue. This time we visit Yuushien Garden in Shimane Prefecture, Japan.

Per Google: In the eastern part of Matsue lies the beautiful Japanese garden of Yuushien, located on Daikonshima Island, in the middle of Lake Nakaumi. A flat, volcanic island, Daikonshima is famous for its production of Japanese peonies and ginseng.

As one can see, I'm on the job with my trusty camera ready and willing to take pictures.

And, Emi is ready and willing to let me take one picture of her.

A couple of close-ups of flowers.

Back to the garden.

Hey! Back to me!

This really is a splendid garden.

Bridges, waterfalls, all the picturesque stuff one wants to see in a Japanese garden.

I forgot to mention ponds. There are ponds too!

Bridge over a pond.

Tree next to pond.

Not a pond, but it looks like a pond... sort of.

Well, that's it for Yuushien Garden.

Thanks for stopping by!
Mike
