Kaike Onsen - Tottori Prefecture, Japan

The adventures continue! We spent the night at the Kaike Grand Hotel - very nice!

The hotel is in Yonago Kaike Onsen, Tottori Prefecture, Japan.
After a good nights sleep we decided to go for a walk and see what there was to see.

The hotel entrance and parking lot. The other side of the hotel faces the ocean.

We decided to walk straight to the Kaike Hot Spring Shrine first and then slowly walk back to the hotel along the ocean front beach. This is the shrine.

And, this is a shrine dog. Time to move on.

Our first glimpse of the ocean.

The beach is lined with hotels.

We are not alone.

The trees in front of this hotel are bent back from years of the wind blowing off the ocean.

Yes, it's me.

The view of our hotel from the ocean side.

Hotel gift shop.

No a lot of activity at the hotel swimming pool.

A couple of hotel guests that just finished breakfast. They're wearing a hotel Yukata. A Yukata is a lightweight cotton kimono that are provided by hotels and Inns in Japan for guests to wear in the hotel to relax. You don't get to keep them; when you check out you leave it behind.

The Tea Lounge Blue Marine. The night before we spent some time after dinner in the Blue Marine Tea Lounge and we weren't drinking tea.  The have a well stocked bar and a very talented and amusing bartender. We had fun!

More adventure ahead!

Thanks for stopping by!
Mike
