Sigma SD1 Merrill on a dismal afternoon

It was cold, dark and dismal... my kind of photo shooting day! I decided it was time to dust off the Sigma SD1 DSLR camera and lug it around (it's big and heavy) and see what kind of images I could capture.

This is what jumped in front of my camera!

Not too exciting but it was fun and it beat the heck out of hanging around the house waiting for it to rain.

After discovering the roof top vantage point the other day I decided to return today with a wider angle lens. Behold, the Kanagawa Historical Museum in all it's glory. This building was originally a bank.

There weren't many people in Yamashita Park, however, the ones I met were friendly.

Real gas street lamps.

The streets of Bashamichi are filled with small and interesting restaurants.

I had to stop by and say hello to Nicky and Nichole.

As much as I like coffee I never stop here.

Baby, it's cold out here!

The Sigma 85mm f1.4 lens can give you some serious shallow depth of field.

Just get on the bus, Gus!

My wife and I have eaten at the Safari twice and will be going back in the future. The food is excellent and the service is superb.

People love their pets.

Look out! This guy is armed with an umbrella and looks dangerous.

This guy is OK, he's only armed with a camera.

I'm loving the 85mm lens.

Misora Hibari - a singing bird in a beautiful sky; may she rest in peace.

Taxi, er, I mean Radio... whatever.

Need a rest?
Well, that's it for today.

Thanks for stopping by!
Mike
