Yokohama Tramport Museum

Tired of hanging out on the same old street corner doing the same old boring stuff? Well, get up and get going to the Yokohama Tramport Museum.

Located near Nigishi (Yokohama), the Tramsport Museum has a slew of refurbished street cars that were in service in Yokohama between 1923 and 1945.

As a fan of public transportation I was thrilled to visit this museum and check out the street cars.

The nice thing about this place is that all the cars are open and one can go inside and enjoy the beauty of the interiors.

People were sitting and enjoying the old world atmosphere.

A free rider.

It must have been fun getting around on these beautiful street cars.

A lot of nice detailed workmanship on this interior.

Woodwork and brass.

Take the number Nine on the downtown line!

What a surprise! Emi's on the same car as I am.

Time to get moving on!
And,
Thanks for stopping by!
Mike
