The first week of 2021 - Walking around Yokohama

I've been out and about. Mostly walking the same old streets trying to get 10,000 steps a day.

January 2nd:

It's a beautiful day! A great way to start the new year.

A few other people are out enjoying the day too!

The pigeons seem to have a lack of respect for this statue of a girl scout in Yamashita park.

Here comes the bus.

The Harbor View park is another must visit place for me.

A lot of old classic cars in this part of Yokohama.

A Squire and a Morgan in Motomachi.

Shoppers!

Riding the train home. She was all relaxed and at peace with the world.

Then they announced her stop was next and she started to get excited.

January 3rd:

Another day, another walk and what have we here?

A very old BMW motorcycle. I asked the owner if I could take a picture of it - he smiled and said yeas.

Time for a little architecture photography. This is the Kanagawa  prefecture government building.

And, this is the Yokohama Customs House tower.

It's a one man motorcycle gang.

This is a vintage Toyota car in mint condition.

Runners world in Yamashita park.

Here come the low-riders.

Now we got the easy riders. She rode it well.

The streets of China Town are starting to fill with people.

The masks come down when the ice-cream comes out.

Something caught my attention.

Another biker enjoying the day.

A different kind of biker enjoying the day.

I had to look twice.

January 5th:

Fewer people on the streets today.

However, China Town is still quite lively.

The baby was really enjoying the ride.

Damn! The bikers are coming out of the woodwork for the first days of the new year.

Let's all hope that 2021 is a lot better than 2020.

Thanks for stopping by!
Mike
