Voigtlander 25mm Color Skopar Lens - Fun, fun, fun!

The little lens that could! The Voigtlander 25mm f4 Color Skopar Pancake lens is tiny in comparison to today's digital SLR lenses but it has the heart of a lion. I put this tiny tot on my Sony A7II and went for a walk; good things happened.

I started out in Yokohama's Rinko Park. If you're looking for a place to go to enjoy a box lunch and some hot green tea, this is the place.

Being a 25mm lens it's kind of in-between being a wide and an ultra-wide angle lens.

Since it's a manual focus old school lens hyperfocal distance focusing is a piece of cake.

Man! It is a beautiful day!

One of these days I'm going to ride the wheel.

The Yokohama Intercontinental Grand Hotel

Runner's World.

A tugboat named Sakura

Sharp, sharp, sharp... this lens is good!

You want gaudy, we got gaudy

Get me to the church on time!

This must be the church

I do!

A moment of privacy while he kisses the bride

Wahoo! Looks like they're happy
*Note - this picture was taken with a  Voigtlander 50mm f1.5 lens

Back to the 25mm pankake lens

f8 and be there. You've heard it before and this is what it's all about.

I want to ride my bicycle

Play ball! or walk the dog. It's all good.

It is so nice to be out and about on such a nice day.

Welcome to the underground. A person can walk several city blocks down here in the corridors of the subway station.

But, who wants to be underground when there is so much to see above ground.

A chick at the chicken shop

25mm is the way to go - we call this the wide and tight look.

A lot of people out on bicycles today.

A coke and a smile

Last shot of the day... Walk don't Run, unless you're caught out in the middle of the intersection when the light turns green

Thanks for stopping by!
Mike
