It was the day after it snowed. It was a cold wet day and I wanted to get out of the house and go for a walk. The weather report said it would be a nice day... they were wrong! I arrived in Yokohama around 10:00am and it was raining. I started walking thinking that the rain would stop and the sun would shine; I was wrong. When I arrived in Yamashita park I started to think that I should go home. Then I decided that I would go to the Harbor View Park and take a picture of the Sundial, then I'd go home.
Mission accomplished!
After I walked around the Harbor View Park I started to feel better about the bad weather. I noticed that more people were walking around.
The rain and wind slowed down, using an umbrella became optional.
I put my umbrella in my backpack so that my hands would be free to hold the camera and take pictures.
Other people continued to use their umbrella. That made me happy because I like pictures of people with umbrellas.
I call this "Portrait of a Woman in the Rain".
Same goes for this one.
By now I was in Chinatown looking for a place to eat lunch.
I was in the mood for some Miso Hoikoro (stir-fried pork and cabbage in miso).
On my way to the restaurant I kept passing by more people. These people weren't going to let a little bad weather ruin their day.
After lunch I was back pot taking pictures.
Walking around Chinatown is fun!
Couples like to share an umbrella.
Sharing an umbrella is a good excuse to be closer to each other.

By now it was about 2 o'clock pm and I was heading back to the train station in Hinodecho.
It was still raining.
I went underground to get dry.
When I came back out the rain had stopped!
