A day out with the Fujifilm X100V camera

I bought this camera to use when we travel. Well, things change and we haven't been traveling as much as we normally would. The poor camera has been neglected so I decided to take it out for a little walk around Yokohama.

I see the world in living color but it seems that a lot of people enjoy seeing things in black & white.

Black & white is not a problem with the X100V. Just make a menu selection and presto! the world is black & white.

It looks like a rat race.

Standing in line at the appropriate distance.

She's wearing a mask.

We're all wearing a mask.

Uh oh, somebody is not wearing a mask!

It's hot out here.

Humid too!

Hot + Humid = yuck

I thought I'd slip in a little color.

Two weeks ago this grass was brown. It's amazing what a little rain can do to turn things green.

A little skyline action.

The heat and humidity is starting to get to people.

This girl is not bothered at all.

Passing through the Motomachi shopping district.

It's not China Town if it's not in color. The heat is putting people to sleep on their feet.

Three amigos.

He's got a job to do.

China town visitors look for a place to eat lunch.

Parasol and a cool drink - she's good to go.

Laughing eyes.

One could fry an egg on the asphalt.

Using a mask for a chin guard.

The delivery girl.

Making the call.

It's a lot cooler down here in the subway station.

But, I guess it's not cool enough for some people.

To get from the subway to the train line I have to pass through a department store.

Last shot of the day: A department store employee keeps her eye on things.

Thanks for stopping by!
Mike
