Looking through the Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4 DC lens and this is what I saw

I saw more lilies!

This particular type of lily is called the "Stargazer"

Quite beautiful.

They even look good before they open.

From a stargazer to being a star.  This is in front of Yokohama stadium.

 Be a star, spread your wings and fly! Also in front of the stadium.

The hydrangea are still making a good showing inside Yokohama park.

I'm as fascinated with the leaves as I am the blossoms.

So many colors.

And, now we're looking at Lilium auratum. It's one of the true lilies. It is native to Japan and is sometimes called the golden rayed lily of Japan or the goldband lily.

Lilium philadelphicum, also known as the wood lily, Philadelphia lily, prairie lily or western red lily, is a perennial species of lily native to North America.
I just call it the red lily.

As I walked along Nihon Odori Boulevard a film crew was breaking down a set. If any film buffs are seeing this they might recognize the name on the truck.

Unknown flower in Yamashita park.

Yamashita park is practically deserted today.

The security pigeon has its eye on me from the nearby lamp post.

Okay, I've got this one - daisies! These are commonly called "Common Daisies".

I don't know.

Normally when I try to take a butterfly's picture I have to be quick because they fly away as soon as I try to click the shutter.

This guy had no problem staying put and posing for me.

I was outlasted. I finally moved on before he (or is it she) did.

Looks like a black-eyed Susan with a red eye. This might be the Echinacea Flamethrower. Exciting!

Giving up on this one.

What a wonderful world we live in.

Yokohama has the best public rest rooms.

Conveniently located next to the bus stop.
