Flower Gardens Are Good For You

More roses! Lots more roses. If you're feeling a little blue, this is the place to turn that feeling around.

Roses are for lovers! This is the ultimate cheap date. Just hold hands, smile into each other's face and enjoy the beautiful flowers.

Yellow roses are my favorite.

Write "A walk will do me good" on a post-it and stick it on your PC screen.

The Yokohama Marine Tower in the background.

A lot of work goes into maintaining Yamashita park and it's wonderful that it's free to the public.

I brought a thermos full of hot Earl Grey tea with me today. This is the perfect setting to enjoy it.

Flower gardens are good for you.

Stealthy young photographers are happily snapping away at the colorful flowers.

Less than a 10 minute walk from Yamashita park is the French Hill park.

I don't know the name of this flower, it looks like a brush for washing bottles.

Time for lunch!

And, it's less than a 10 minute walk from French Hill to get to the Harbor View park.

Fellow flower fans enjoy the sunny afternoon.

The makings for a beautiful blue bouquet.

It wouldn't be a flower garden without some lavender.

Such a variety, and admission is free.

Last flower shot of the day. Time to start the trek back to the train station.

It takes two to tango.

The ever-present i-phone.

Ahhh, my good friend the Ookagawa river.

Always a good place to catch a cool breeze on a hot day.

Last shot of the day: Party on the streets of Noge.

Thanks for stopping by!
Mike
