Friday morning and I decided to take the day off and go for a walk.
It's still early in the morning and quite hazy out on Yokohama bay.
I've decided to embrace the haze - haze is good.
Navigation aids are good too!
As well as life saving equipment. A nice walk along the waterfront is a great way to spend the morning.
There are happy people everywhere one looks.
One nice thing among the many nice things about Yokohama is that they make walking easy. There are nice wide promenades everywhere.
A small fueling boat near the Coast Guard base is executing a tight turn.
Enjoy the day, enjoy the moments of friendship, life is good.
There are some classy people roaming about on the waterfront.
I'm starting to see school kids everywhere. Why aren't they in school?
Of all the pictures I took on this walk about, this is my favorite. Kids are cute!
One never knows what one will see when out and about. All the more reason to get out and about.
A mirror in the middle of Yamashita park. Say "cheese"
These are the best days of our lives.
No doubt about it, Spring is here!
And, it's a beautiful day for a walk in the park. Any park, anywhere.
This is it, this is what it's all about, don't let another day go by without getting out and smelling the flowers, the seaside air, the scent of the outdoors! Turn off your PC, put down your smart phone, put on your walking shoes and hit the road with a song in your heart and a gleam in your eyes.
Of course it's nice to take a break and relax too!
The cherry blossoms are falling like the leaves of fall.
The dandelions bid them adieu.
It's 12:00 and the office workers are heading to lunch.
They are blind to the freshly blooming azaleas.
It is a wise person that eats their lunch in the park. One can feed their stomach with food and their soul with beauty at the same time.
The best things in life...
If a picture is worth a thousand words, why can't I come up with a thousand words to describe this picture. One should never over think things. Keep it simple and just enjoy the moment.
See what I mean?
Thanks for stopping by!

Tulips! Tulips! Tulips! Yokohama Park
Imagine living in a world where everything was beautiful, where everyone was happy, where people respected each other... that's what it felt like last Thursday when I visited Yokohama Park. The tulips are in full bloom now and the park is a sea of colors. Men, women and children all walk around the park marvaling at the beauty that only mother nature can create.
A well dressed man on his way.
I'm not the only one with a camera today.
Many people brought their lunch to the park, others just sat and enjoyed the day.
Some came with large DSLR cameras, others snapped pics with their cell phones.
On my way back o the train station I walked by the waterfront.
There was also a flower display being held at Aka Soko Renga.
There is love and happiness everywhere today.
I don't usually post so many pictures at one time but I just couldn't seem to narrow it down to any fewer.
