Baby, it's Hot Out Here!

Yes, summer is here and the temperature is rising, and still I go out and take pictures. And,  it seems that I'm not the only one out in the heat.

The warm temperature has wiped the smile off of their faces.

Parasols are everywhere.

I guess no amount of heat will stop people from using their I-Phones.

Going shopping will not be deterred either.

Probably reaching for her portable electric fan.

An office girl putting away her folding parasol before returning to work.

That's one way to stay cool, just wear a t-shirt.

Ahhh... water!

Gotta keep the sweat off my face.

I can read it in his face, the boy is burning up!

Who you calling old?

This guy is going to be appreciating a cold beer after work.

In case I forgot to mention, I'm in Yokohama today.

I can't take it any longer,  I'm at Hinodecho train station and I'm heading home.

A cool drink helps a lot.

Changing trains at Yokosuka station. This guy talks with the platform attendant.

School girls know how to beat the heat.

Back at Yasura and I say goodbye to the train. Time to walk up the hill to my house and sit in front of the fan with an ice cold beer.

Thanks for stopping by!
Mike

  1. Lovely! If I were to use umbrella in sunny weather people here would probably look at me as if I were an alien. Wrong, but I can't help it. This is despite the fact that word "umbrella" in local language originates from word "sun". We had a two hour walk last week and got our skin burned. Took many days to recover.

    Keep cool!

    2. Thanks for kind words Mike :) I run several websites and know people don't comment easily unless they are bloggers themselves and bloggers will only engage with your blog if you go and engage with their blogs first.

So if you don't go and actively comment on other blogs you will typically won't get any comments. This, of course, doesn't mean that no one is reading or that they aren't liking what you do.

(sorry for deleted comment above, I accidentally used my Google profile and it was saying "Admin" so I deleted comment and posted again under my name).
