A person can really pack a lot into a Sunday. To be specific I'm talking about last Sunday. Emi and I started out the day at the Morning Market in Misaki. A great place to get fresh vegetables, fish, fruit, and many more things.
We're all friends here.
A sale is made.
Happiness is in the air.
Many vendors are multi-generational.
Sweet heart, you gotta try this stuff!
Get it while it's hot.
Later in the day we went to Kamakura.
A sweets shop along the way.
The shrines in Kamakura are always crowded on a Sunday, it's expected and welcome too.
Seeing the sights by rickshaw.
This is the money washing shrine.
Nothing like good clean money.
No shrine is complete without a bunch of burning incense.
And, burning candles too.
Next stop is the Goddess of Mercy Shrine. There sure are a lot of shrines in the Kamakura area.
Time for a little cave walking.
Don't ask me what this is all about, I'm just a guy with a camera enjoying a nice stroll through a cave.
Well, back in the day light and Emi snaps my picture.
By now the day had become long and it was time to go home and enjoy a cold beer. So, off we went.
Thanks for stopping by!
Mike
