I like to mix things up. Take a walk in the same old places with a different perspective. On this day it was the wide angle perspective of the Fujinon XF 16mm f2.8 R WR lens attached to the X-Pro2 camera.
A police boat cruising down the Ookagawa river on a beautiful morning.
I guess I'm not the only one out taking pictures today.
Sometimes wide angle isn't the best choice. That little dot under the helicopter is a man being lowered down to the ground.
A couple of runners passing by at Aka Renga Soko.
Shooting into the Sun.
Shooting with the Sun behind me.
A small fueling boat is underway to the Asuka II moored at Osanbashi pier.
The domed building in the center of the picture is the Yokohama Customs House; nicknamed "The Queen".
Standing on Osanbashi pier looking toward the Yokohama Bay Bridge.
On the other side of the pier there is a view of Yokohama's famous Minato Mirai skyline.
A closer look at the mighty Asuka II cruise ship.
What's that up ahead?
A lovely wedding couple getting their picture taken by a professional (and me too!).
The inner side of the Elephant's nose at Zou-no-hana park.
Kids running wild? No, it's a grade school field trip.
She's got her man.
This is what it looks like when one moves in real close with a wide angle lens.
It's selfie time (left side background).
Chinatown is always a great place for people pictures.
I think the lady on the left has a headache.
Another enthusiastic photographer.
Last shot of the day: A new gaslight was installed in the foreground.
Thanks for stopping by!
