A couple months ago I bought the Fujinon XF 8mm f3.5 ultra wide angle lens. Since then I've taken some pictures with it and now I'm going to share a few with you!
On the 3rd floor of the Yokohama Media and Communications Center bldg. there is a small room. I don't know the history of this room, it's very nice; people only have access to the entrance, you can't go in and sit down.
This is the area outside the room. After all the years I've been visiting this building I can't believe I just discovered this space.
Now for a walk around the 2nd floor lobby of the Hotel New Grand Yokohama.
A lot of history here.
This place is open to the public but I don't think many people know that.
This wide angle lens is perfect for this kind of situation.
Many couples come here to have their picture taken by a professional photographer.
The lights on the ceiling are spectacular.
Now for some outdoor pictures. This is the Yokohama Customs House bldg. It's a historical landmark.
This is the Zao-no-hana terrace park.
Time for a wide angle view of Chinatown!
Welcome to Chinatown's main street.
One visit here is not enough. This is a place that needs to be explored thoroughly and often.

Now we're walking through the side streets.
It's a bit of a rainy day so there's not so many people here today.
This is the second floor dining room of my favorite restaurant in Chinatown. The first floor was already full so I was sent up here. Shortly after I arrive this room was full of customers too.
This is the front of the restaurant. This is the only picture not taken with the XF 8mm f3.5 "Ultra-Wide-Angle" lens. For anyone visiting Chinatown I recommend this restaurant. The Monday through Friday lunch special is the best!
Moving on from Chinatown this is the Kanagawa Prefectural Government bldg.
The building on the left was originally the Seaman Merchants Club. The building on the right is the Yokohama Archives of History Museum.
Walking along the Yamashita Rinko Line Promenade.
Walking past the Red Brick Warehouse. Former brick warehouse, now a shopping & cultural center with stores, cafes & seasonal events.
Where the Ookagawa river meets the ocean.
Yokohama Cosmo World featuring the large Ferris wheel "Cosmo Clock 21".

Now we're walking along the the Kisha-michi Promenade.
And, at last we reach our final destination for this wide angle lens adventure... Sakuragicho Train Station!
