Saturday In The Park

It seems like Yokohama is an endless park where people can enjoy getting out and doing things. Here is a sampling of the places to go and what the people of Yokohama were doing yesterday.

A small temple on Noge hill.

Hmmm...

Mixing the old with the new.

A shrine maiden helping Grandma adjust the baby harness.

A beautiful day for jogging.

And, a nice place to jog too!

The hip-hop-jump-rope kids

Ice Skating is great fun, just ask this little guy.

Hip-hop wannabes warming up

The singer-song-writer getting ready to belt out a tune.

Looks like the security guard is a fan.

I think I'd wear a helmet too!

Happiness is a day in Yamashita park

Sophisticated lady.

A busy day for the crossing guards of Motomachi

Well, the sun is going down and it's about that time. The platform attendant is announcing the arrival of the local train.

And, here it is!

Time to call it a day and head home.

A 30mm Kind of Day

Today I went out with just my 30mm f/1.4 lens and my Sigma SD14 camera. Here are some of the pictures I took.

Gas lights and shinny buildings.

Tea time

Bonsoir!

People enjoying a picnic style lunch.

Yamashita Park

Sittin' on the dock by the bay

The Koban in China Town

A glimpse inside the Yokohama Port Memorial Hall

A restaurant where I plan to take Emi to lunch this coming weekend.

Things to do...

Games to play...

Places to go...

I'm not the only one waiting for the train.

I bet Alfred Hitchcock would enjoy this.

It was a fun day; enjoyed walking aimlessly around very much.
